Last Saturday after the opening day practice the RFAA presented Coach Hood and the team a program direct check of $25,000. New RFAA president Roger Rushing in discussions with Coach Hood identified specific needs for the program. Coach Hood was quick to identify a major need for nutrition and equipment for the upcoming Spring season. The RFAA board approved a Spring contribution of $25,000 supporting these needs. This contribution is in addition to the contribution to Racer Football Endowment for Excellence of $25,000 presented in December. Roger Rushing stated “these combined donations demonstrate our organization’s commitment to the immediate needs of the program and a long term investment in Racer football. The RFAA is already looking at investments for the Fall season.” Go Racers!
