The Racer Football Alumni Association, LLC is an organization of former Racer players, coaches, supporters and staff dedicated to the improvement of the educational and athletic experience for the Murray State Racer football student-athlete. The Racer Football Alumni Association, LLC is not part of or associated with Murray State University, the Racer Club, the Murray State University Foundation or the Murray State University Athletic Department.
As student-athlete needs grow in a competitive NCAA environment, funding to public Kentucky universities is decreasing. Murray State University is making every effort to provide quality facilities, education and basic needs for all students and student-athletes. Coaches have innovative ideas and projects to enhance the football that cannot always be funded through regular University resources.
The Racer Football Alumni Association has applied as a 501c(3) (charitable) organization status to help support the educational and athletic program needs in accordance with Murray State University policies and NCAA regulations for the Murray State University Racer football program.
The Association’s goal is to provide funds in compliance with NCAA regulations for the educational and athletic needs which are not funded by the normal University operating budget. Association funds will be used to support the football student-athlete needs and support achievement in and out of the classroom, help facilitate skill development, support program excellence and expand involvement from former Racer players, coaches, football staff members and friends.
